Who else loves a good smoothie? Since purchasing my Vitamix Blender a couple of years ago, I am always looking for and creating new smoothie recipes. I’ve been disappointed a lot, but this recipe does not disappoint! In fact, I have to give all of the credit to Donnie-he created this recipe himself back in March and we’ve been obsessed with it since. It almost tastes like a peanut butter cup, even though it doesn’t have any chocolate in it. It is a great recipe for when you are on the go, for breakfast, a snack, or when you are wanting something sweet. If you love peanut butter and bananas, this smoothie recipe is for you. So easy to make with minimal ingredients-thats my kind of smoothie!
Ingredients
- 6 Ice Cubes
- 2 big spoonfuls of Peanut Butter
- 2 Tablespoons of Honey
- 2 Bananas
- 1 1/2 cups of Almond Milk
Directions
First add in the ice cubes, followed by 2 big spoonfuls of peanut butter and 2 tablespoons of honey. Next, add in banana chunks from 2 bananas followed by 1 1/2 cups of almond milk. Customize this recipe as you like, if you would prefer more peanut butter or honey, or even a different type of milk. If you prefer a thicker smoothie, use less almond milk. Simply blend and enjoy!
